I guess I'm just old and grouchy, but I can't stand the fucking kids in here ... these young losers have no ambition to READ the posts, just keep asking the same old questions, over and over again ... too lazy to do a 'search', too stupid to compose a thread with anything that resembles English ... And there are not as many kids at the other forims I listed. C.com is geting flooded with kids since the outdoor growing season started.
I don't mind helping youngsters. But only if they are respectful.

after scouting several other cannabis sites, I see they are all over-run by newbies that Won't Read ... Won't Search, Won't attempt the use of the English language ... it's like visiting huge online ghettos ... some have hundreds of threads to their credit, and couldn't grow a frigging dandelion, if their lives depended on it ... they simply repeat every post they ever read, whether it is correct, or not ... they won't take good advice ... tell these clowns they need a minimum of 20 watts per square foot, and you will get a reply such as: "will a 15-watt aquarium light work OK, and grow several ounces per plant ?". ...it's frustrating, I get disgusted ...
I have decided to keep visiting this website, as it USED to be entertaining, and educational ... I will NOT respond to frequent questions that have already appeared in the Forums, and will probably spend my time directing them to SEARCH ... if I become an asshole, it is because my patience is at an end, and I apologize to a FEW members ... please keep in mind, I respect, and enjoy conversation with SOME of the folks in here, primarily those who act as if the first couple years of grade-school weren't entirely wasted ...
I also request that the owner and moderators of this site automatically permanently BAN all minors, as they obviously have no business growing an illegal plant ... as witnessed by their apparent ignorance, they should be more concerned with an education, and a job, than their plants ... they will find out, TOO LATE, that the pot won't support them (without a jail term hanging over their heads), and they will grow up to join the ranks of jobless, poverty-stricken misfits I see everyday, begging for change ...
am I too harsh ? ... not nearly as harsh as LIFE can be ... my best wishes to those who struggle .... :smokin:

Its good to see some coming back..didn't any of you think outside your own little group here in the grow section that even though SOME of us don't post here that we do read the tips and journals?? And before I get flamed for saying that and asked why we don't post..well..we don't want to contribute to the worthless posts..thats why we read..knowledge..imo you could step outside your box more and be a little more welcoming to newcomers but all in all..you guys had a good thing going and let people down.

I am very sorry that this grow section does not come across as "ALL welcoming"... I thought it was extremely welcoming and tolerant... no question should be labled as "stupid"...

that was my beef with OG... people would ridicule and be condescending to each other... and that was a crummy enviroment to call home...

I will do my best to welcome and accept all who come onto the boards...

IF commercialism is a priority. i mean how many 15 years olds buy anything advertised here or anywhere? i don't mean to come off as an old fogie with no tolerence of our yute's but come on, what can they buy?

Couldnt have said it better. Get rid of the minors and the other issues people are having with cc will slowly fix themselves.

That being said a big Thank You!!! going out to all the experienced growers. Even if you have never talked to me personally I have read and followed many many of your grows and the information I learn is priceless, as I can vouch for with my current grow.
