i used to smoke almost everyday at school, then the semester changed and this semester is a real buzzkill, so now i usually only smoke on weekends, and wednesdays(when my dad goes to his girlfriends for the night)

I'll smoke one or two bowls a day. But not religiously... I'll occasionally go a day or two or a week between sessions, and sometimes I'll just smoke continuously through a week.

I'd say I'm high for about 15 hours of a week. I'm not high all the time, but I'm happy.


For all the heavy smokers on here... Are you even capable of appreciating things while sober anymore? Like food, or swimming, etc...

nah not really. when i can get weed which is pretty much all the time - although my dealer has been dry for about a week which is very unusual, he usually is always good - im high pretty much from when i wake up to when i go to sleep, except for important things like class or work. i usually smoke maybe two or three joints a day and a few bowls and if im with alot of people (more than 5) ill smoke a blunt or two, but i dont usually like to do that. on average i smoke a little over an eighth a day, sometimes more, sometimes less. and i usually like to smoke alone at night but most of the time the quarter (my dealer wont do less than a quarter so thats what were forced to buy) is split 3 or 4 ways and lasts two days.

and to answer the question asked by polymirize: i would define myself as a heavy stoner (i dont really know how much you have to smoke to be considered a heavy smoker by you) and i still enjoy everyday things. for example: i work at a kayak dealership and i kayak everyday. its work and i cant go high, but its a really fun job and i enjoy it alot. i think i appreciate things more when im not high then when i am high, because i know everything is amazing while high so when i think something is enjoyable when sober it really must be, because i dont think everything is amazing when im not stoned.

very cool. I worked and continue to guide for kayak shop in northern california. One of the mecca's of west coast whitewater, but we ran the occasional trips to the ocean.

I start between lunch time and maybe 3pm..
From then until I go to bed I probably have a joint every hour or so.. (depends on the mood)
I dont pack my first few joints tho.. I like to feel myself getting high'er slowly. :rasta:
I had a long talk with a friend who just smokes one fat spliff and hes fine all night.. and we both argued the points of smoking our own ways.. but hey its up to you how you wanna smoke!
