Well, I had two plants, both 16 days old, but today I pulled out the other one, because the second and third set of leaves just weren't growing at all. This plant had very long leaves for it's first set of leaves. The plant is just now starting it's 4th node, and the third node, the leaves already have 5 leaflets. I'm hoping that this plant is a female, as I don't want to grow anymore plants. I'm also hoping that this plant is going to be sativa dominant, due to the long pointy leaves, of course I've seen seedlings that look indica, but turn out to be almost pure sativa, and vice versa, so who knows?

Because I put the germinated seed so close to the edge of the pot, I assume I'll have to transplant it soon? Since it's in a 6" pot, I think I'll just put that pot into a 10" pot, that way I won't run the risk of ripping up/destroying any of the roots. How long can I wait before I transplant?

I know it's stretching it, but I'm hoping to have my harvest by mid-July. Once the plant gets about 10 sets of leaves fully developed, or when it gets around a foot, I'm going to flower.

Oh yeah, the plants are on my back porch during the day, so they are getting direct sunlight. When they aren't getting sunlight, they are in my closet, under a 75 watt Flourecent Grow Light. So, they are under light 24/7. When I flower, and switch to 12/12, can I have six hours under sun, six hours under my flourecent light, and then 12 hours of darkness? Because, since my lights aren't that great, I figure the sun is doing better for them anyway since it's direct. It's usually around 85 degrees everyday, but the plants aren't wilting or anything. After a few hours of being under the sun, their leaves point up, but that's it. Ever since I started putting them under the sun (last week) they have been developing a new set of leaves everyday, that starts off as just two green sticks, and the next day, I can already see the leaf pattern, so I think my plant is really loving the sun. As for the hot weather, I know it should usually be 75, but I'm hoping the plant is sativa dominant, so I hope the weather won't kill my plant.

They are an hour away from being 17 days old. Oh yeah, my soil is 80% Shultz Soil for African Violets and other flowering plants, and 20% perlite. As I've said earlier, it's in a 6" pot, all by itself starting today (when I pulled the other one out). When I know if I need to transplant or not, and after that's taken care of, and it developes more leaves, I'm going to start feeding it with half strength Miracle Grow Tomato Food 18-18-21. That's what my book, "Easy Marijuana Gardening" by Ed (I forget his last name, but he's from High Times) says is a good option for nutrients.

When my plants aren't under the sun, like at night, or if it's cloudy and storming, should I get some CFL's or continue using my 75 what flourecent grow light?

I'm all out of AA batteries for my digital camera, but I'll have camera phone pics as soon as my phone charges. Any advice and/or comments will be greatly appreciated!
Peace,
