Tell your dad first like you said, but be subtle. Don't drop a bombshell on him all like "by the way dad, I toke like a chimney'. Just say you tried a little draw at a party/friends house the other night and is it alright with him if you do so again? If he's cool then great, if not then you'll know where you stand!

I'm thinking of telling them as it would be better coming from me than someone else. Alos, I may be allowed to smoke at home instead of potentially getting busted by police outisde.
