this site is losing popularity fast.
i just dont see why that should happen
this site had a great mix of people
from rich europeans to ghettofabulious people like me
old people young people and all in between
of course theres gonna be some bickering
but in the long run it helps open up a different point of view
why would you want to change that
it seems this site is going in the direction of catering
to lil kids.
most of the new posts are just plain boring and some even stupid
when people get high sometimes they just want to hear some random
shit about everyday life that we all have in common.
i dont believe eveything here is about marijuana
its about meeting people like ourselves that we would never meet

i feel like the generic mentality that we spend so much time avoiding
has taken over this place.

what does toking have to do with anything? ron didn't toke for several years when he started up his websites to fairly recently...at least that's what i understood from our many conversations. ask him...i'm sure ron would fill you in on the rest of it...if there is more to it...i guess it just never mattered to anyone whether ron toked or not and it shouldn't matter with the new owners either, imnsho...

The reason for the latest stand is because of increased complaints from cannabis.com veterans. this includes the moderators. With talk of increased flame wars, everyone wishes for something to be done.

Differences of opinion are tolerated and open discussion as well as heated exchanges is welcome,. But immature expletive-laden personal attacks on one another in a long thread is just pollution and not beneficial, these are the things we are aiming to rid of due to the increased complaints.

Then we can attract more various mixes and groups of people.

We are always open to the idea of adding more board areas as well.

i guess you guys talking about the shit don't visit the other major sites. everyone has a thread talking about the same thing...things have changed and not in a postive way. and it is true...there is a lot of uneasiness and bitching and hate going around but it's a universal thing i believe. it's not just here, it's not just the cannabis network...it's society. when i venture out in public nowadays i don't see many friendly faces. it's like no one trusts each other or they just don't give a shit as long as their own personal world keeps running unmolested...and i don't see a lot of happy people here either. or the other sites i belong to or sites i have an interest in lurking around. old friends are being driven underground and people are building walls.
