    hey

does anyone like Blink 182?? I've liked them for years, but I just realised how amazing their latest album (self titled) is.. all their old stuff was good, but this albums truely original

even if you dont like punk/punk rock/pop punk, whatever you wanna call them, or even if you think theyre 'too poppy', i advise you to blaze up and listen to their latest album.. in my opinion its one of the most original CD's to come out for a while

    peace

Yeah... not too much into the modern punk scene, but I do like a few modern punk bands like The Used and Funeral for a Friend... But of course shit like old school Green Day, Offspring, Rancid, etc. That's some good shit.

But on a similar note, how about some ska? Some Toasters or some Specials. Now that's some good shit to blaze to

    Punk to me was;
    The Clash
    Stiff little fingers
    Buzzcocks
    Sham 69
    Vice Squad
    Ian Dury & the blockheads
    Joy Division
    Siouxsie & the banshees
    The Ruts

I do remember The Exploited's (Dead cities) first and last time on Top of the Pops ~lol~ my Dad nearly had a nervous breakdown

Edit: He watched it with us - for Pan's People

Wow great line up of old punk and oi. I love Sham. Bolstal Breakout! hahaha Oh you remember the Dead Cities single. That's pretty cool. I saw The Exploited not too long ago. They don't tour in the US very often, crappy small crowds. The only original member is the frontman/singer Wattie.

I prefer their "Angel's with dirty faces", although "Borstal Breakout" is a great track.
My boyfriend at the time was an Exploited fan - the reason I got the Mohican that got me a months grounding. I much prefered SLF (Suspect Device & Alternative Ulster)

Hersham Boys! lol Yeah I think Wattie's red mohawk is one of the most distinct mohawks ever. He is too old for it now, he let it down and it is red dreads now. Damn he is in his mid-40's now I think and still going strong!

Blink 182... Cannot stand them. I also refuse to support their riaa lable by buying one of their cds. If i like the artist and they do have a riaa lable I would simply just download it and send the artist a $1 in the mail. Because $1 is about twice as much as they would be gettting if i was to go out and buy the cd in a store
