Shorty's and Blind are for little kids nowadays.. Flip still thrives a little bit. Almost was pretty hot for a little while. Alien workshop took a shit. I worked in a skateshop for 3+ years - there's a lot of shitty people that work in the business.

It's all about money, mostly the shoes.

We (the skate shops) make roughly 70-80% on shoes in profit.

A successful skate shop relies on shoes and tenure. Most of it is taken over by big dogs in the area who are able to buy mad product to sell at wholesale price.. only they don't. They charge the same.

If you guys knew some of the sick rip offs I've seen working there.. jesus.

Not only that, but I've punched more than 2 kids trying to steal shit. Wtf is wrong with you guys? Understand you're being watched. Don't be stupid about it.

yeah,i think they are just doing it for the money too.a while back i saw an emerica add that was anti-marijuana but in "this is skateboarding" it shows andrew reynolds and spanky rolling a joint so they can't be that serious.

thats some bull shit in my opinion....i guess they wanna keep the youth away from the dope, but i will always encourage smoking but thats just me.

i dont skate any more, althought i have a friend who works in the ad department of tws snowboardin, and her husband is a pro skater, im gonna talk to her, see what her opinion of this is.

skating is kinda gay i think these days, i hate it, but im alwas down with the ogs like muska, smolick, penny, etc. what hap[pened to the TSA days???

its not gay now its just that it went so commercial. its these lil kid skateboarders i fuckin hate them. they come up to you, whats your board, whats your setup, whats tricks can you do, etc... i always tell them i dont know anything and ride away. i skate for fun you lil douchebags.
