i come across $70 1/8's pretty often in west LA, so its really not that unusual to me. not saying i usually pay that much, but i might if i were desperate, or if it was some absolutely amazing bud.

exactly! amazing bud is rare, sure, and expensive. but it'll last far longer then anything of lessor quality because it takes less to 'get there'...simple! plus it always tastes excellent and bag appeal is a feast for any eyes! it's what thai sticks, alcapulco gold, panama red, colombian gold & red, and other fabled strains are all about...now we have new breeds and names but same quality, when it can be found...and reletive to today's economics, it's still expensive!

i've paid 70 for an eighth of OG Kush. that was in so-cal though, he gave me a dry eighth for 60 once too. but my herb prices round here are.
50 eighth (32 for nor-cal trainwrek) 8 for swhagg
90 quarter (65 * * * * *)15 for swhagg
140 half (110 * * * * *) dont ever mess with more than 1/4 of shwagg

Comparing weed prices in one part of the U.S to weed prices in another is a waste of time. And comparing weed prices in the U.K. to weed prices in the U.S. is fucking ridiculous. For example, prices in Cali are higher than a lot of States in the U.S. that I've bought weed in. It's not a matter of being ripped off, it's a matter of economics. People who say shit like "I'd never pay that much..blah, blah, blah..." don't realize that they wouldn't have a choice if they came out here.
