in america there is the 'entrapment' law right? that if you ask someone who sells you weed if they're a cop then by law they have to tell the truth if they are?

So my question is does a law like this exist in UK?

That is not true, they can lie undercover to bust you here. The Supreme Court ruled on that years ago. They can also lie to get a confession too so say's the court. I think that was under the first Bush?
