Hempstone Is Here
Hi everybody, I'm new here. I am a hemp historian, primarily focusing on the great Pennsylvania hemp industry from the years of 1720-1870. I have learned one great story to tell. I just thought I would introduce myself for now but hopefully I'll be able to make positive contributions to this forum. In the meantime, if you have some time check out the interview I did last month for the show Common Sense with Mike Nixson in York County, Pennsylvania.

I don't see how I could be banned. I didn't try to sell a product, I didn't advertise a product, I didn't even say I have a product to sell. I stated that I am a hemp historian, that's true. It's my main contribution to the community that I have to make. It's the gift that I have. I want to share what I know. The video link that I posted is not a product, it's free and very informative.

Hempstone Is Here
Well, I've been reading through this forum for a few days now and I'm starting to get to know the place a bit. I must say that I'm fairly impressed. I don't know what I was expecting but it is tempting sometimes to believe that there's going to be nothing but "stupid stoner" talk. I'm not saying that stuff doesn't exist but there are a lot of people on here fully employing their minds and actively engaging in lively debate, discussion and the free exchange of ideas. Wherever people are able to freely communicate, I'm all for it.
I was reading through a lot of the religious and political threads. I'm suprised to see such a diversity of opinion. There seems to be people from all points of the political spectrum and there is a diversity of religious opinion too. Who would ever think there would be Christians on a Cannabis .Com message board? Or right-wingers, conservatives, patriots, former military? Kinda blows stereotypes a lot of people have completely out of the water because the fact is, so many millions of people have tried cannabis that pretty much all viewpoints, lifestyles and beliefs are going to be represented. That's just the way it is and most likely the way it should be.
Everybody has their own perspective. I have mine and from time to time, when I have something valuable to contribute, I will share my thoughts and perspectives on things. (Actually, I'll contribute when I feel like it but whether or not it is actually a valuable contribution, who knows?)
Stay tuned...

I saw your article on our state board, and observed the interview.
Interesting nuggets of information. I've lived in PA for the majority of what counts in my life and still managed to learn something from you. For this I am thankfull. Hopefully we can exchange ideas and veiws together in the future.

Thanks. Now the key is to make everyone in Pennsylvania aware of this information. We have to do everything in our power to get educated first ourselves about the whole issue and then press forward with it until the history fo the hemp industry is common knowledge in the general population. There is no reason at all that our farmers should not be growing hemp. One day, they will.
