His life is ruined? Only if he lets it be ruined. Oooo, busted for some seeds and paraphernalia, yeah, that's it, he might as well commit suicide now. He misses a year of school, so what? Lots of people go through LOTS worse shit than this piddly-ass stuff and go on to have wonderful lives.

Taking baseball bats to anyone is wrong. Period. Vigilantism leads to anarchy. Are those friends going to be happy if they end up in prison for 5 or 10 years for assault with a deadly weapon, or assault with intent to kill, or attempted murder, or whatever? All that for a pissant little pot bust? That's stupid. Violence is the refuge of the mentally deficient. Too dumb to figure out some non-violent method of achieving a goal? Grab a bat!

This sort of thing just gives the federales more ammo to use in the 'war on drugs'. I'm not going to commend you on giving the feds more ammo to use against me and other peaceful folks. The guys who used the baseball bats - I hope they end up in prison with Bubba Longschlong for a cellmate.

Prohibition causes a lot of these problems. But we sure aren't going to end prohibition with idiots like these running around helping the feds out by doing insanely stupid shit.
