    21st Century Paul Revere Ride

Starting today, hundreds of motorcycle riders and RVs will leave Golden, Colo., on a 10-week `` 21st Century Paul Revere Ride'' that will travel to every state capital in the lower-48 states before ending in Washington on Aug. 12.

But unlike the ride by the real Paul Revere in April 1775 to warn of the approach of British troops, the new version is intended to raise awareness of what participants consider to be a new invasion: millions of immigrants, legal and illegal, that adherents say add to welfare roles, disrupt school systems and commit crimes.

`` We've got to close our borders,'' said ride coordinator Howard Wooldridge of Frederick, Md., whose brother, author and Internet broadcaster Frosty Wooldridge, originated the idea for the ride. `` We're losing manufacturing jobs all across our country. We already have all the unskilled labor we need. We don't need any more coming from other countries,'' Wooldridge said.

The ride, which will begin amid fanfare and a VIP sendoff that will include U.S. Rep. Tom Tancredo, is scheduled to visit Boston on Aug. 7, including stops at local historical sites where members plan to `` pay homage'' to Revere and other patriots.

Riders expect to pass through the Attleboro area en route to Providence and a culminating rally in Washington, D.C.

The Washington-based Center for Immigration Studies estimates that immigration costs local and state governments $11 billion to $22 billion per year because of the higher consumption of government services by relatively low-paid undocumented workers.

Oh, really? Let me get some more input here: Don't we have laws against illegal immigration already?

Whose to blame for not enforcing existing immigration laws?

I don't buy this as an "All American" problem and we're in it together. It's highly political on both sides of the border...

PS and it's funny how President Fox caves to the DEA but isn't doing a fucking thing about this problem. Why is that?

My point that you missed was...

    Dems want votes......

    republicans want cheap labor....

who loses........regular tax paying americans thats who. its not republican democrat thing..........Of course its about politics on a big scale.

Grey matter....go to the hospital when you break your leg, and you have a problem and need to stay over night(i had to stay over night once for breaking my pinky)....it might cost you 25k-50k it could bankrupt you..... but if you are from mexico, dom republic, .......no charge......wtf i pay over 400 a month for health insurance.

    what about anchor babies?

what about them not needing car insurance? do you pay for car insurance?

    ^^^^^do you see a problem with that?^^^^^^^

Fair enough on the motives of Democrats and Republicans... and it's ALL political. It's gotten to the point where everyone is pissed off at the Illegals. That's my problem with all this discussion. I'm all in favor of going after the greed and irresponsible entitlements that keep America attractive.

I agree with you too Bong... but I can't help to notice that the statments Republicans are making is to get them out... not to punish the other republicans who brought them here and want them here... just kick out all the Mexicans..

I hate the way the Democraps are hanlding this as well I just think it would work out for the better if we stop blaming the Mexicans. I mean all of your arguements are for the Mexicans getting more than americans or costing americans money... But it's not them that are the cause... it's the businesses that brought them here for the slaves labor and the politicians that want to keep them here. Why can't we all just get together and blame them...

I blame the Democraps, but also the Republicans, and we are under full republican rule... so when I, or anyone attacks the president, or a republican... why defend them??

Tom Tancredo is a republican... the person mentioned in PSY's post... that is all I was stating, and am glad that republicans are finially finding a reason to get mad at their party... I just wish you wouldn't think every attack on the president or the repulicans is an attack on all of them... it's not... it's when repulicans defend repulicans as a whole and say it not a party issue that it turns into one...

I don't like either party and think we should be a multiparty nation... my attacks aren't party attacks... they are attacks on people who do wrong... the president on this issue is wrong... he is protecting his investments and wants slave labor... other republicans don't want that... that's all I was pointing out...
