Blunts causing cancer?
Well I have a concern, I realize that marijuana doesnt cause any kind of cancer and the only thing that would be considered bad would be the smoke if it was smoked from a bong, regular rolling papers or a vaporizer or something but I have a concern...I have smoked marijuana out of blunts about 5 times in my life because I'm only 15 and it's very difficult to get them when you have extreme paranoia of asking people thinking they are gonna go in the store and use your money for them selves lol.. But really my whole point for this thread is, I was wondering does blunts pose any threat of cancer on those that use it? I wonder this because I guess tobacco cause cancer (I'm not for sure, thats just what I'm told) and blunts are made from whole-leaf tobacco...so how safe is it?

Hey orange
They do have warnings on them the same as cigs, I think they can cause cancer. I used to smoke blunts but then I quit tobacco so I dont mess with them anymore, not because they cause cancer just cause I dont smoke tobaccoimp:
The last blunt I had was made from a palm tree leaf not tobacco

Most the people I know smoke blunts. I agree that a joint doesn't hit hard enough. A blunt hits hard, but waste a hellof a lot of weed. Just get a good pipe or a bong. I've got a couple pipes that outperform blunts. It don't take five grams to fill it up, either.
If you just left the tobacco in the cigar and smoked it, it might be healthier. The nicoteine in the cigar wrapper takes the ability away from your lungs to block the harmful ingredients in the smoke.
A joint is good to take with you to be social, but a pipe is for getting stoned. If somebody pulls out a blunt and lights it, I'm gonna hit it, but I don't use tobacco, so a blunt every now and then aint hurting nothing.

Yeah, the large tobacco leaf used instead of a paper DOES cause cancer like any other tobacco product.
You've only had 5, you'll have smoked mroe pasivly thoughout your life than that, so dont worry, just dont make a big habbit out of it and you'll stay healthy.
Hemp and flax paper and pure weed is the safest way, along with a bong

If you want a safer alternative check out these "Sweet Palm" blunts http://www.everyonedoesit.com/online...CategoryID=634
They look small but you could probably get two and cut them to make a bigger one.
