When someone you know dies...
That's true. It's like being surprised at a thunderstorm when they're happening all over the globe constantly. But hearing about a storm and being near one are two different things, no? That's kinda where I'm coming from.

He was an upper-classman I knew in school, and he got on my nerves most times. It's weird to think of someone that way, and at the same time feel in your heart that the world was a better place with them just being in it. I never really knew him, but I'm really going to miss him. And so I hear that Garrett's gone, and I feel an unexplainable sense of emptiness and mortality one feels when someone your age, moreso that Rating: 5
