The reason humans get scared is it's a defensive mechanism, like pain.

We are *supposed* to learn that when we feel fear, we will not engage in the activity which causes such fear.

It's much like placing your hand onto a hot stove without a protective glove.

Yet, people disregard fear and are not willing to learn from the lessons it teaches us.

Too dumb to use a rubber? You get scared.

Bitch misses her period and gets morning sickness? You get scared.

Turns out she's just late and she's not pregnant? You *should* have just learned a valuable lesson and *should* make a point never to be in that situation again.

Unfortunately, us humans take such close calls for granted and do not learn that way. Instead, we forget and continue to blow our wad in them.

Then, you get her pregnant and you become incredulous.

Unbelievable...
