Watering Plants

I water my plants almost everday or every other day. I heard doing that is too much and i should wait til the soil is dry. My pot has a drainage, so i hope my plant isnt hurt or anything. Im just going to water it a little less often. Any ideas?

Ok, realy you should give it alot of water, so its comming out of the bottom, then leave it untill the first 3 inches of soil is dry, maybe 2 - 3 days.

The plant can carry on happily for a few days even after its all dry.

If your underwatering you'll know cos it'll droop, and if your over watering it will start to droop, but the thing with watering every day is the roots may rot, and this is a very bad thing.

Also make sure the soil is very fluffy and aireated cos the roots like oxygen.

I usually water 1/6 the volume of the pot every 4-5 days.....
