showing sex too soon

went from 24 hr light to 18 hr light, cloned tops to sex under 12 hr lights, most clones died 2 came up males, went to remove the two and found a third with seeds, the two that i know are males show no seeds nor do any others show sings of sex, why would one plant do this?

you clone in veg cycle, not flower cycle ... :smokin:

yes cloned in veg cycle to try and sex plants, most of clones wilted, rotted or did nothing two showed signs of being male clones were under 12 hr lights plants remained under 18

why would one start to seed under 18 and not the rest? am i doing something wrong?

ok, well, I am on my first cloning, so I am definitely no expert, but I have been a good grower from seed for a long time ... did you follow the typical cloning method ?// the cutting, wetting, root-gel/powder, rockwool cube, or jiffy pot, etc ?? ... if not, read the "Cloning 101" thread up in the FAQ section, that explains it all ... good luck ... :smokin: go here http://boards.cannabis.com/showthread.php?t=23400 :thumbsup: I dont 'do' the bubbler method, my strain clones easily into dirt, supposedly
