I didn't think it was that serious. But then again, the comment wasn't directed at me. You have accidentally 'taken the piss' from a valued member of this site. And calling everyone here 'strange folk' isn't helping your cause.
It's usually the ones with weird alter egos that are easily noticed and remembered. Obviously not everyone here is like that.
Try apologising again without the smartarse remarks. You might even be taken seriously and forgiven.
And remember it's not your responsibility to question or joke about peoples sexuality in the real world or online.
Treat others with the same respect you'd like to be given.
