Dank/Hydro the same thing?

All of my friends think Dank and Hydro are completely differen't weed and are grown from different seeds. However I heard that dank is hydro but was picked pre-maturaly. Am I right or is my friends?

Hydro is the way you grow your bud (hydroponics) and dank just means good weed.

yeah man...hydro is just a way of growing pot without dirt...like a bamboo plant (or maybe?)

and dank just means its gooooood stuff

i prefer dirt grown myself, tastes better

lol, hydro is not a strain. It's just a way of growing, altohugh sometimes its refered to as meaning good bud because weed grown in hydro is said to be bigger, higher yeilds and slighly more potent.
