    Supposed Special Sircumstances

    I know I spelled it wrong......shut up....

Unfortunately, I am pic-less, but one of my baby widows is experiencing some drying of the first set of real leaves.....it starts at the tip and moves down along the leaf....drying the whole thing to a crispy flake off......it already consumed the little starter leaves, half a true leaf and one entire true leaf.....all of them are the same age and the other widow is doing fine and the two NL's are doing fine.....same amount of light and fan action....water has been sort of touch and go (literally) because they're babies and i dont want to drown the whole pot when they've only gotten to the third node or so..

...I thought what you thought.....nute burn....the prob is...no nutes at all......there is a tiny bit of miracle grow that i ended up mixing in with my soil/perelite because there wasnt enough...but its just the regular shit and it represents maybe 1/10 of the total mixed soil in the pot....they're one gallon.....but i dont think that its too small for a plant that hasnt grown its third node yet

i have six floro bearing down on them 24/0 but, if it was a light/heat issue i'd figure it would effect them all.....unpleasantly perplexed

By the way....for any pre-startup floro warriors out there.....i'm getting great results with the other plants no stretching at all....the NL's are gonna be some fat bottom girls:thumbsup:

I'm no expert but maybe the plants are using up their own n in the lower leaves due to a lack of nutes, since the lights are on 24/0 its constantly feeding.

it could be 'damping-off', from poor drainage ... gives the illusion of leaves 'drying up', but is really suffering from not enough oxygen to the roots, caused by over-watering and/or poor drainage ... killed a few of mine like that until we figured it out ... :smokin:

i refuse to believe that nute burn and drain problems, which have already been proven false are all that this forum has to offer for a problem like this....I promise I'll recognize those who help in a gracious harvest thread when its time......right now I just need a little help.....Is it underwatering like the other dude said? Should I wet down the whole pot for young plants ? Should I try to flush out the miracle gro ferts? (seems overkill for young babies) whats up canna.com?! Let me feel the love!

hey image reaper i am having the same issue as jake and i thought the same thing about the roots not getting oxygen b/c i did not mix any perlite into my soils..
how can i take care of this?
is it okay to transplant into new pot w/ more soil w/ perlite? they're in 1.5 gallon bucket, 14 days old..

sorry jake for posting question inside your thread to someone else, i just started to notice this today, and really want to stop it before it gets any further..
by the way, i'm growing both NL and WW right now in soil..
did you say that you had some NL that were already bigger?

    PEACE!
