extremely bad experience

yeah so, friday night i was at a prom party and i was drinking some..not much but enough for a good buzz and anyways my friends sister told me to go talk to these guys about some weed and i did..he rolled me a joint and i wasnt paying attention so i dont know if it was laced or not. but anyways my night went coompletely down hill from there. i was having a good time before this happened so its not like i was stressed out or anything that would cause this to happen. it was the first time i had smoked in almost 2 years. it started with my mouth going COMPLETELY dry..i know its supposed to but it was so dry it was like sandpaper and i couldnt stop coughing and i needed a drink badly. i was following my friend around and then everything just started to get worse. there was music playing and it was slowly starting to sound like it was farther away and my ears were ringing. then everything started to go black..it was like everything was closing in on me and thats when i started seriously freaking out, i kept telling my friend that i was going to die because thats what it felt like. after i freaked out at her i just collapsed onto the ground. i dont remember how long i was down for but i just remember everything spinning and i couldnt see anything properly. anyways once i got up she wanted to get me out of there so we were trying to find the way out and we got lost for about half an hour. this is when it started to slowly wear off. i just dont understand how a joint could fuck me up this bad. ive done weed quite a few times before this happened 2 years ago and nothing ever happened to this extent. does anyone know what it could have been?

dude i doubt it was the weed. people dont just lace weed for no reason. how well do you know the person who rolled you the j. was it some shady dude or just a kid at the party who hooked you up. im guessing it was something you ate combined with the alcohol and weed. this is why most people dont smoke and drink at the same time.

i didnt know him at all, he was just sitting on the ground with his friend and i asked him if he had any weed..so yeah..i dont know. he didnt really look suspicious but it took him an awful long time to roll it

it takes me like 10 mins to roll a really nice joint. so i dont think that matters much. i bet it was the alcohol and the weed. never a good combination.

dude the same thing happened with me and my friend, we were smoking at a train station in the winter and i felt just like you did and i am pretty sure what i smoked wasn't only weed.

the blacking out feeling was prob an effect of the alcohol, and i have had my ears ring and freaked out from pot so im not sure but it sounds liek u jus hadnt smoked in a long ass time

if it was laced with dope you would've been nodding off in a matter of minutes, opium you would have been really warm and coma stoned. i think it was jus cuz u hadnt smoked in 2 years.

Alcohol and weed mix. Experience counts for both. If you're drunk and you take a hit of pot after laying off for years, you're pretty much in for the best of both worlds, and a lot of people don't expect it and get floored by it. I happen to like waiting after a good 8 beers before taking bongrips. The pot just seems to bring out the best in the euphoric, happy feeling of the onset of drunkeness, while at the same time giving me the best effects of pot. I love the two together to no end.

Its just that, having little to no experience with either, then throwing them both on the same body at once is asking for something to go wrong. Pot is marketed on the street as an ametuer drug, yet is one of those drugs that can permenately scare people away from drugs because of paranoia fits, which is what the original story sounds like. Weed + even just 4 or 5 beers is going to elevate your level of intoxication quite intensely. Where before you may have barely felt a buzz from alcohol, after a few rips, you're going to feel hammered and very high all at once and all rather quickly. Like I said it is easy for that to floor you and it has and still does floor me. You're going to feel like you're hammered, because that;s what weed does when it mixes with other drugs. It enhances the effects. I use it after drinks and during mushroom trips when it feels like things have plataued... or however you spell it.

Mixing things with low to no experience is always a bad idea. Especially when it involves alcohol. Shit like that happens.
