    Where's the common sense?

Well last night was certainly interesting. With the summer upon us, I decided to attend one night of Summer Camp, which is a weekend festival with plenty of music and drugs up in northern Illinois. I only went last night b/c I didn't have enough $$$ for the weekend, but it was still worth seeing Umphrey's and the Disco Biscuits.

The night of shows started around 4-4:30, and by then, plenty of people had taken X that was supposedly making people OD. Being really hot out, many people surprisingly didn't drink nearly enough water, and that's why so many started to go into convulsions and/or die. There were ambulances everywhere, and I saw at least 3 people taken off, dead. Then during the Umprey's show, a kid right next to us upfront just keils over on the ground and starts having a seizure. So me and a buddy pull him up and give him some water and drag him to an ambulance. We were pretty sure he was dead though, so that was kind of tough. We talked to some of his friends and they said he took 5 of the "bunk" X pills, and mix that with hardly any water on a hot day, death is all but certain. Apparently many people don't realize how important it is to stay hydrated when you take X. With so many deaths at a relatively small festival, it makes you realize how easy it is to OD. Besides, who the hell takes 5 X pills? That's just asking for trouble.

aight, that's my rant, just had to get it out there. anyone else witness something like this?

    Where's the common sense?

lastnight, i went to a Punk/Metal show. some kid was looking for ex, i had some extra pills. sold him 4 100mg pure mdma pills. turns out he had already downed half a bottle of jose cuervo, i could tell he was spppiiinnniiingg need less to say the other 3 pills were his freinds money and they were to be brought back to his freind..they never saw him the rest of the night. i saw him put all 4 in his mouth and say something along the lines of "fooood" and chewed them all up(worst idea ever) needless to say, he puked all over the place in the back room of the concert, and some dumb Emo kid was like pointing at him and laughin as load as possible. i gave hime an opened bottle of water, and told him that he needs to go home and go to sleep. surprisingly, he did just that =0... after puking more in the bathroom and moshing for his favorite band..

well I don't think he was dead when we were dragging him. He was trying to say something, but we couldn't understand him. And yeah it was definitely fucked up, but honestly, I just try and block something that negative out of my mind. It will only bring me bad thoughts. I'm sure it really hasn't set in, but the fact that I never met the kid helps to not affect me as much. It does make you realize how important it is to stay safe when doing shit like X. I just can't believe so many people were convulsing, and that people were blaming it on "bad" X, when it was really dumbasses not drinking enough water while standing under the hot sun all day.

Well the kid was obviously in some trouble, plus a bunch of dickheads next to us just stood there watching countless people trample over him. Then they tried to tell us to stop giving him water and just let him continue to have a seizure. "Ohhh, just leave him alone mannnnn." Fuck, people these days...
