Buddhism teaches god is within the environment, the energy around us and yourself. Every other religion teaches us that. That's why they make out god to be like man-like creatures. I'm been raised in a buddhist household, the concepts are far in unique. Remember Jesus? He claimed he suffered for all our sins, therefore in return, we have to as well?

It's no different, the teachings are culturally altered and twisted, but deep in the heart of all these religions, the concept is the exact same.
