You guys really have no idea how much I love this board.
95% of people here are friendly, helpful, or just plain funny and enjoyable to read...lol

Thanks to all, I feel a bit better.

Orange, when I get right up on the buds, they just smell like weed with a hint of melon... very mild. But when you come downstairs, the first thing you think is "cantaloupe??"!...lol

The first day I was afraid it was fish emulsion I was smelling... but it is much sweeter and as we went here, it got milder and even my wife has said... "Do you smell melons?"

I of course stated "Absolutely, come over here and take of your shirt and I will show you!"

But she meant the drying weed too and just shook her head and walked off...lol

Again, right on the buds you get a scent of 90% weed 10% melon... but it is the damnedest thing.

I will keep you guys posted as to if this smell continues. I am in day 5 of the hang dry. I am going to cut a lot of the big fans today as some are drying out and becoming brittle and I dont want that. So I am going to remove them and put them in the mason jars. I am going to make flour and butter out of them, the trim, and the stems, so I want to slow cure them as well to get every drop of the good stuff I can as I know there is not a lot there in these parts.

I will take some pictures after I strip her today.

I am with you. when I mentioned this to the guy I got this from (bag seeds), he looked at me like I was daft...lol On the other hand, he had a hard time believing I took one of his bag seeds and grew one plant into a 5 top, 4 foot 9 inch plant that was 4 feet around. He wants to try it as well after it cures (because I dont think the guy he gets it from does a very good cure... if at all). Strong as hell... but a bit harsh and gren tasting. You just cant argue with the results though...lol

Very VERY good for pain managemnet as well when eaten... so it seems to be good quality stuff at least.

We will see what we get here. Though I will likely not be able to try it until August.
