10,000 lumes to the plant is the magic number you are looking for.

    Happy growing!

    Lighting question

That wasn't a super simple question.
I'm not sure that was the type of thread you tell someone to go to the faqs for.
Especially if it's such an easy question.Something that can be answered fast like Zandor did.
I know I"m the master at telling ppl that. But thats if it's a bunch of easy questions that I've answered over and over.
And Lip I don't know if you are qualified to make that judgment. sorry if that sounds harsh. But you know how I feel.

now u said bout 10k lumens....so would that b total, like if u had a bulb that put out 2500L, u should use 4 which would = 10k? or jus a bulb that put out that much? i have 2 bulbs that put out i believe 3k lumens each, for a total of 6K lumens, so i should maybe get 1-2 more? or??? thnx in advance

    Lighting question

    hi tru...

if you are going to grow just one plant ... you can use 4-6(150watt) cfls... 2600 lumens each...

Surround the plant with these lights at all different levels(height). Keep the lights less than 1 inch from foilage at all times... you can harvest 3 ounces from a good indica (mango) using this technique...
