FLUSHING OUT NUTRIENTS!!! HELP!
I need your help please.
I am currently "flushing" the plant, as it is ready to harvest.
I have been using PHd water with ZERO nutrients in it for a week and 3 days now.
How do I know when it is completely flushed of that cr@p?
A friend of mine who has grown in the past told me to wait until there is no more green in the leaves, they all die and turn yellow. Is that true, or am I killing the potency of the bud by doing that?
How long should I flush? Am I doing it right? When can I cut this thing down, dry it, and cure it? And how should I do that?
I just want to smoke it! (I know dry and cure is another couple weeks.)GarlicToast Reviewed by GarlicToast on . FLUSHING OUT NUTRIENTS!!! HELP! I need your help please. FLUSHING OUT NUTRIENTS!!! HELP!
When you flush you need to put 3 times the amount of water as your pot can hold, so:
If yout pot is 2 gallons then you need to put 6 gallons of water though it in one watering.
Then just water with normal water after that untill harvest.
I think your plant will be fine.

FLUSHING OUT NUTRIENTS!!! HELP!
Really Lip...a 2 gallon container can hold 2 gallons of water in the soil?
Flush for 2 weeks. Your friend is right.
the plant will look pretty dead by the time it's done and ripe.
A magnifing lens with a light on it. Helps . You need to look in the grow FAQS.
Water with alot of water like Lip said. But not 6 gallans. Thats way too much. Just use about double what you usually water with.

FLUSHING OUT NUTRIENTS!!! HELP!
if you have done it for 10 days you should be good. i also think it has a lil to do w/ the nutes you use. some that i have used have left more residue or buildup than others. my rule of thumb is 2 weeks w/ plain water and 1 week if using clearex.

FLUSHING OUT NUTRIENTS!!! HELP!
with hydro, you need to flush for 2 days with water only. get some final flush and add 10ml per gallon, let the flush work for 5 days. turn lights, pump, air stone, etc. off for 24 hours. cut plants, trim leaves and hang.
