And usually, but not always, Sativa's generally have more leaflets per leaf. For instance, it's not uncommon to see a sativa leaf that has up to 11 leaflets, where with Indica's, it's usually common for them to have either 5 or 7 leaflets. Like others have said, sativa leaflets are long and skinny, with more leaflets per leaf, where indica leaflets are usually very wide, with less leaflets per leaf.

Cannabis strains with the name "Kush" in them, usually are indica. That's because it's from the Kush Mountains somewhere in Asia. Cannabis strains with the name "haze" in them, are usually sativa dominant.

If you are unsure what your pot is, plant a seed, grow it, and you'll be able to tell if it's indica dominant or sativa dominant, or, if you're lucky you'll get pure sativa or pure indica, although that is less common, due to hybridization now a days.
