I know they may be some stupid questions but...

Can you get arrested for having a joint in your car (or on you) if you get pulled over for say...speeding? How about if they smell the weed in your car? Is there any difference (the way a cop may treat you) if you're carrying a joing versus a bowl?

Laws seem to change all the time and I know when I was younger, I've been caught with small amount of weed by the cops all the time and they would just take what I have left and let me go. I haven't carried pot around with me because I don't know how things are now.

You will get a appearance ticket to see a judge unless your stoned at the time = small fine in ny it has been decriminalized = just a fine
