lol! You sound just like me, man. I got the same setup, and usually the smell does go out realllly quick like because of the fan on the window and the air pressure and shit, but that only usually really happens if the door is open and the door on the balcony is open. So, what I usually do is just when you light it put something over the bowl to quickly quickly lock in all the smoke so none gets out to smell, then blow it right into the fan (aka, out the window).
I also use that thing where you take a paper towel roll and cut it in half and stuff it with downey sheets, works like a CHARM. I do it ALL the time in my room and there is no smell at all, just the smell of room.

And I had one bud left so I was like fuck tommorow, ill get stoned now and find some food and watch T.V- So as of right now the only pipe I got is my glass hand-held bubbla' and I put all the bud into the bowl which was quite a big bowl.
