Nice to officially meet you, too, Onward. You wrote me on my first or second day on here to see if I'd had any luck with a connection. That was in the old days when connection talk was still the standard.

Hey! And I meant to tell you that that was a tremendously nice thing you did for your friend who's sick--the gesture for his family and kids.

I remember writing, just not that you lived so close. Of course, my rememberer isn't what it used to be....

Thanks for the kind word. It's hard having a friend go through this, as you well know. I can't imagine how their children deal with it. At least they get to have some really good memories together if nothing else. As a matter of fact, my friend said they are at Six Flags today. He invited me, but my wife really wants to see that new movie The Breakup, so that's where we're headed in a few minutes....ah, the joys of parking at the mall on a Saturday.

    Have a wonderful day!
    Onward!

I just went up to the Gas Pipe at 190 and Marsh and I picked up a nice little bong and some of those flavored papers.

They were very helpful even though I had to ask alot of questions.

It is very close to my home; I had no Idea I had a head shop so close.

Just hit that new bong......Holy Shit!:rasta:

woohoo, kickass with the new bonger.i do have a bad report about the gaspipe on forrest lane in north dallas.they ain't the nicest folks in that place.I 've had morethan one bad experience there with the"don't say the wrong thing"dickheads that work there.they smoke ciggarettes in your face while your trying to shop(nasty asses).and last weekend I went there with my wife and asked to see a color changer.like 28.00, no big purchase.and the dude said we couldn't hold it in our own hands before we decided if we wanted to buy it.done.won't be back.I've been known to drop several hundred at the right store at the right time.I'll go elsewhere now.the folks at the gaspipe in north dallas make the decision easy

I went to the gas pipe in Arlington on Collins about two weeks ago. The staff there has always been real helpful. I bought a little wood and metal one hitter that doesn't look like a regular pipe and it closes to cover the bowl. Fits in my pocket. Guy was real helpful. I was looking at something else and he suggested the one I bought even though it was cheaper.
