Shall I tell my parents?

I'm honest with my family that I smoke. You should only tell your mom if you're ready for your dad to know; married couples talk, even if they don't want to. The best thing to do if you're scared is give them reasons not to be concerned about it; try to be more responsible, help out around the place when you can.

Being secretive is easier, but being honest and having your parents know it doesn't effect your personality might even change their whole view on the herb itself. That's what happened with me.

Before you let them find out or tell them or whatever. Make sure your doing good in school. That seems to be the #1 concern with parents. If you're making straight A's, they're likely to take it easier on you. But it is THEIR house and if you want them to know you smoke, then know that if they don't want an illegal drug in their house..then you should respect that.

My parents don't seem to care that I smoke as long as I don't do it around them or at home. (Which seems odd..I'd rather have my kid smoking next to me then out somewhere doing god knows what)

Yeah, I'd tell her! At least then, you won't have to worry about being "caught" so much. I'd tell the dad too but I don't know how cool your dad would be.

I'd buy some incense so they get used to the smell, then they won't think about why you have lighters.

just tell em man, chances are they did some of the same stuff you do when they were teenagers.

you know what i noticed, you never really get caught by yourself. its always with a friend you get knocked. so i say this, in your house just blaze by yourself and not with a friend cuz you will get nabbed.
