Six CF lights(24 watt) in a soda can reflector(http://www.drugs-forum.com/growfaq/1...FBurramys4.jpg) and white paper on the walls. There would be only 2 plants.

I recon that it can be done.

Just get pots that aren't that tall.

Try and make them the biggest volume possible, but with the least height.

So, let me try this mental excercise:::
23.5 inches... let's take it down to 20 for "lee way".

Let's say you get a 8 inch tall pot...

Then leave 8 inches between plants and the screen...

    That's 16 inches.

Now, you've got 4 inches for your lights and canopy.

    Hard? Definitely.

    Possible? Also definitely.

    I say go for it!

If you get pots that are less than 8 inches tall... well, you see where I'm going.

    Go for it!

it's definetely possible but do not use paper on the walls! CAN YOU SAY FIRE HAZARD!!!! just paint them with flat white paint. it will be much more durable anyway. is it possible to cut a hole in the bottom of the box so the pots can sit in. that way you will have no height loss from the pots. just make sure they fit tight in the holes so there are no light leaks. i recently built a 24inch tall scrog cab for my brother. it uses a 70hps and 2 42watt cfls and yeilds close to a qp. with a little imagination you should be able to set up a nice little grow!

    I completely agree Turtle420.

But i think shorter pots are valid. You can use large pots but short.

Other way in gain some inch is using slim CFLs. Try to get type L CFLs. They are best efficients CFLs, and only gets 1" in height. 3 of 55w will give you far larger yields than 6 24w CFL. In fact, with 2 of 55w you will get the same light than with your smaller CFLs. They last longer, too. And its ballast can be placed out the cabinet, reducing the heat to manage (always a problem in very small cabs).

Sounds great, Csaocsao! I've wanted to try this method for a long time. The only problems I've been trying to figure out how I'll deal with are

    1 the humidity
    2 the smell, and
3 getting fresh air in without too much noise.
