zandor quick question
My last white russian crop spent their entire flowering life under 14 / 10.
Why wait til the last 2 weeks? You can do it from day one.
And my personal opinion, is YES, it does make the flower more potent...without question.
It "MIGHT" extend the flower period by 10 - 14 days.
It "DEFINATELY" makes the more pure BUZZ.
If anything, you want to reverse that formula....14 hour days then 10 hours days the last 2 weeks.
THis will quicken the final prduct. Plus 14 hours of light in flower will help keep the plants fans alive and kicking which in turn power the plant some more.
Try it, you'll like it.

zandor quick question
I was under the impression that that would shorten the flowering period and lower the yield.
I wouldn't do it unless you are in a hurry.
But I could be wrong.
Harddon is the one who has tryed it.

zandor quick question
The end of the plants life cycle is when the trichomes packs on most of the volume. Yes you can reduce the light cycle sure. Not all strains will provide more yields with extended dark periods. Most should but I don't think the percent of THC in the trichome is effected that much. No way to prove it unless you have a mass spectrum monitor to break down the THC and measure the level before and after. Smoking will only tell you want you think you should have. It's the power of suggestion as much as good smoke but it's still pure conjecture and speculation to do a smoke test. Not that would not be fun to try anyway.

zandor quick question
this isnt exactly on point, here, but thought I would share it ... couple days ago, I was reading some heavy botany stuff from the University of Mississippi, where the Govt. has its pot farm ... it stated in no uncertain terms, that plants flowered under 10 hours of light have only 20% of the THC content of 12-hour flowered plants ... that is a drastic difference, if they are correct ... scared me into bumping my light up to 13 hours, just to play it safe ... :smokin:

zandor quick question
There are many people /' growers who follow the circaydian rythm method.
That is, they base a "24 HOUR" day actually on an "18" hour day cycle.
The theory is that a plants usefull energy period is not 12, 14 or even 18 hours, but rather, is 6 - 8 hours.
10 hours on / 8 hours off.
or...
8 hours on / 10 hours off.
You can do it many many ways.
Test for yourself.
For me? I have tested the 14 vs. 12 hours and found the 14 hours to be a stronger buzz. Although, I agree, it may decrease final yeild and bud size.
