well if u could explain the difference maybe ill care. i grew up about an hour from where slipknot grew up and its not that bad at all i dont kno y they are so upsett y the music is so dark they grew up in teh damn suburbs of des moines iowa its pretty nice there.

lol imo slipknot is a joke of a band with talented musicians. Their lead vocalist has some serious range, but I guess I'm not just a fan of his style most of the time. There's plenty of other death metal-esque bands with a much "scarier" stage show better than slipknot. Maybe if you were playing better / real metal, your neighbors wouldn't of complained, and instead would of started moshing.

slipknot is not death metal. if you are over 13 and still think they are, then you are a lost cause. it really doesnt matter though since slipknot sucks and so does death metal. and anyone who doesnt like metal is going to be really really annoyed by the screaming aspect, so dont act like they should react to it like you were playing kenny g.
