White Rhino growdiary - 250w HPS. Lets keep this nice and simple...

Let me get this straight you grew that plant in the picture from seed ( which you germinated ) so your saying that from germination ten days on that is your plant? I don't believe that one bit. Have I misunderstood.

    Do you/can you grow?

If you can grow then im sorry, it was obviously a joke.

If you cant grow then learn about the plant before making stupid comments.

Of course a plant can grow that much in just 10 days. Any plant, given the right conditions can grow that quick.

Dont be so fast to say somethings dodgy if you dont understand.

I've never seen a plant grow that fast in ten days from seed.

In the right condition's plants have been known to grow 6 inches in a day.

This is what i read of a site, ive never had a plant grow that fast lol.

Basically, most strains areslow growing in the first 2 weeks because they are getting their root systems up and going, but this one seems to be more interested in growth upwards.

Some strains are just like that.

That's what I was going to say, maybe growth like that in vegetative but from seed I thought it was bullshit from the offset and still i'm not sure but there's alot I haven't seen and 6inch or so plants in ten days is one of them. Regardless of that, nice thread.

I assure you - the White Rhino is 10 days from seed. Maybe you think it looks big, but remember its under a HPS and not a MH, so there will be a little stretching due to the red spectrum. Hopefully now shes grown towards the light a bit more she'll stop stretching. Anyway, Im flowering her when she reaches 14 inches as I dont want her to smell that badly.
This will also show people how much yield you can get off a plant thats a little over a foot tall. I for one have no idea, also Im a bit short on space so I want her short and bushy.
Anyway, nothings changed apart from a bit more growth on the nodes so I wont bother putting a pic up right now.

    [QUOTE=Tom Swierzbinski]

Mand, is doing it simple the best way to grow or is it the lazy way? Hehe

    QUOTE]

I like that Tom , Well I'm all for doing something the lazy way, there's no doubt about that

Also the fewer elements involved in the equation of growing, the less there is to go wrong

Hey I just read that last sentence back and it sounds really technical

    love mand xxx

Looks like some sort of bug or leaf deficiency. Anyone care to enlighten me?

    Pretty please?
Its day 14 now by the way. Just stuck her out on the windowsill today to enjoy some natural light. Hoping to start flowering in another month. Just depends how the other lowryders go... if you have a look at my Lowryder diary, youll see that theyre not doing too well. Its not my fault, honest! Actually, it isnt. Theyre becoming deformed because of the soil Ive used. No, not MG soil. John Innes potting compost. Ah, a word of wisdom -

IF YOU GROW LOWRYDERS, DO NOT USE JOHN INNES POTTING COMPOST!!!
White Rhino seems to love it though. On the bag it says not to use with acid loving/lime hating plants, so maybe Lowryders prefer more of an acidic environment? Hmm, time to start experimenting with lemon juice now...
By the way, theres also a piccy of my fat cat Chloe, who seems to have prefer Rhino over Lowryder.

Edit: aww Mand, now whenever I read your posts I dont get to look at your pretty face...
