get a little sterile soil, put it in small pot with drainage holes, then take a pencil, poke hole up to where color starts, and drop seed in that hole pigtail (taproot) down. Use tweezers, if you got'em. Then. Lightly cover over top of sprout...spritz lightly every once in a while as soil start to dry out...don't drown it.

for future reference. I just omit the floating thing and stick them right into the soil. BAM spritz lightly and in a couple a 3 days..little seedling..small fan for excercise and coolness, find a good light distance...cfl's are great to start with to learn.

latewood Reviewed by latewood on . floating sprouted seeds?? whats up everyone i'm just starting my first grow and i'm germinating my seeds by putting them in a glass of water and letting them sink and crack.....well no seeds have sank in 48 hours yet but one has cracked and i have my taproot at about 1/8 of an inch......should this still be floating?? should I just go ahead and plant it?? sorry if this is a dumb question thats been asked before but i just need to know i want to start it Rating: 5
