ADD is real, but the problem with it is that it is overdiagnosed.. like seriously overdiagnosed. It's one of those disorders where when anyone reads the symptoms they pretty much think they all apply; I thought I may have ADD for a while, but then I tutored a kid who legitimately had it. He was fucking bouncing off the walls every 10 seconds. And literally, I'm not joking, he was climbing on chairs, desks, and throwing shit while I was trying to tutor him. Nice kid, but he had the most nervous energy I've ever seen in anyone. I'm pretty sure you don't have it. It's pretty normal to lose focus. If I remember the statistic right, it's something like the average attention span of a human for an issue of mild importance is something like 20 seconds. Maybe you just don't care all that much about school so you can't focus.

But yeah.. thinking you have ADD is probably more of a problem than ADD itself.
