HELP!! First Grow
We started with seeds in rockwool cubes in an enclosed growing tray 10 days ago. 6 White Widow seeds and 12 bag seeds. Never imagined we would get all but 3 to sprout!! Now we are concerned because they do not look like most of the pics of seedlings we have seen. They are very tall and spindly, had to tie them up!! and some are kinda yellowish. Keeping the growroom temp at 75 - 80, about 45 - 50% humidity. Circulating fan, plenty of fresh air coming in and excellent exhaust system. Currently under a 400 watt Metal Halide lamp, about 8" above top of plants. Still in rockwool cubes, no nutes yet, but would like to know when to transplant and when to start nutes and specifically what brands you all might recommend. Plan to grow in soil, 3 gal. pots. Any comments or advice is most appreciated!! Pics attached, I hope!!

HELP!! First Grow
WOW! they are really really stretched, but i am sure you are aware of that... i would suggest you to plant them in pots... make sure to put them deep enough down so the soil covers a lot of the stretched stem so it has some support. Fox Farm soil is a really good soil, use some lime and maybe even a drop of SuperThrive to help root development....
the weed is searching for light so thats why it stretches towards the light... try bringing the light closer but make sure to use the hand test (put your hand above the tip of the plant and hold for about 1min to make sure it doesnt get hot) or you can use some CFL's and you can put them really really close to the weed.
dont worry about nutes quite yet. Also try the FAQ section, you will discover a lot of info in there.

HELP!! First Grow
They are past it. Get rid of them and get some new seeds.
The light is either dud or way too far up.
Get it closer, but really they are so stretched i doubt they'd be able to get strong enough, even with a fan. You could put them in new pots and put soil up to cover msot of the stems, but the stems might rot.

HELP!! First Grow
Not much you can do to save them really. They stems are too tall and spindly to survive on their own. Cut your loses and take it as a lesson learned.

HELP!! First Grow
I'm so sorry to hear that most of you think these guys are terminal!! Where do you think I went wrong?? Should I put my next batch of seeds under the lights right away? Keep them completely in the dark as I did this time? Place seeds lower in the rockwool cubes? I am determined to get this right!!

HELP!! First Grow
I had a seed like that, if u repot it so most of that stem is covered with soil it should be ok or mine was anyway.
Did you turn the light on straight away they showed through the cubes?
