    I HAVE CANCER!!!

I'm sorry, Singingbowl, to hear that news. How old are you? So do they consider this esophageal cancer? I need some more details. Than I can either ask my husband, who's a doctor but whose specialty is in another area, or better yet can ask my sister's oncologist. He's real smart and will answer anything. What do they intend to do? Esophageal cancer tends to happen in men more than women, from what I just read in one of my husband's books, and rates are higher for folks who've been cigarette smokers and heavy drinkers. Would you qualify on those counts? You're also at risk if you have a history of reflux/heartburn after eating. I'm so sorry about this news!

I'm sorry to hear about your misfortune . However, some of the best ways to combat cancer are non-smoked cannabis (just the THC itself), eating lots of strawberries and rasberries (anti-cancer properties), and reducing stress as much as possible. Also I have heard of some people living a life of healthy eating and lots of meditation, and have actually cured themselves of it. This is all I can offer for now.

BTW, do you or have you smoked tobacco or anything else?

well I just turned 17 on may 8th but yea it is in my esophogous...I am so confused though cause I feel like I am a little too young to be getting cancer....and yes I have BAD reflux that is what the doctor said probably caused it along with mild tobacco smokeing....

you know it was just one of those days that I woke up and thought things were going to be cool because I woke up to the sound of sublime playing and I had me a good ole wake and bake and then BAM!!!....my doctor tells me I have cancer......Its one of those things that make you want to cry....

Sorry to hear it man. I highly doubt it was the weed, infact, no, it was nothing to do with the weed.

Theres no direct link between weed and any form of cancer, you'd be unlucky if you was the first.

    Do you smoke cigs too?

Im truly sorry to hear it man.

    You have my love

Well, hon, I'm so sorry about that diagnosis. I'm sure you DO want to cry. You're far younger than someone ought to be to have malignant cells showing up. Do they think they've caught it early? Do they know what course of treatment you'll go through? Esophageal cancer is on the rise, and they think the reflux factor is a big contributor to that. Pretty soon I figure they'll routinely put everyone on acid-blockers like Prevacid or Prilosec. Please know you're in our thoughts and prayers. And let us know how you're doing!
