Preserving Shrooms??

Alright so i've got about a half Oz of shrooms, and I need to keep them for a couple weeks. What would be the best way to store them. I was thinking like a dark cool place, because i heard heat eliminates or reduces the psycobilin(sp?) content in the mushrooms. Any suggestions of tips for preserving the mushrooms?
