    Hey guys I am new to this and have never grown before I Have 3 plants 1 that is about 2 weeks old and one's that are 3 days old how come my new ones are already as big as my 2 week old plant?? An my 2 week old plant still only has the 2 leaves coming out of it, never spouted any more. how come?

    indoor or outdoor what kind of lights and how far away are they can you show me a pic ? it sounds like your plants are stretching for light wich causes the plant to focus on stem growth rather than folage growth

    Well, we really needs pics, but it sounds as though your not using the right kind of light.

    You need CFL's or a high intensity discharge lamp [ MH or HPS, not MV]

    Persaonally id chuck your plants cos after 2 weeks they sound like they're gunner be too stretched to save.

    A bit of reading would have prevented this

    Read the grow faqs to learn to grow BEFORE you plant the seeds.

    I dont have any pics but i have been using the sunlight in my window and when i get home from school i put them outside. can i do it like this or until i get a light

    it is very likley that you will end up with a spidley plant.... you should get a Cfl...

    and keep it within 1 inch of your plant...

    spindley, meaning stretched out to the max ... a long-stemmed seedling incapable of surviving, let alone supporting the weight of leaves and buds ... it means, "not enough light" ... :smokin:
