Disappearing Threads?

I've noticed this has been happening a LOT lately... and the topics being removed aren't even offensive. Why is this?

Is there one that you are concerned about? Alot of threads actually aren't deleted but moved to other areas of the board. For example, there was a thread asking whether you prefer metal or glass for a pipe. I moved this to recreational because that area is set up for that type of post. One stop shopping for those who are wondering such things.

Sales, looking for hook-ups, racial comments, slanderous comments, etc. are deleted immediately....house rules.

yes, why do we need 4 calender threads anyway? people complain about the slow download time and threads with pictures being the main cause of the problem...so please try to keep them consolidated, IF you must post such things.

mary, the only posts of yours that are missing are all from the calender threads, already addressed above. and that was only 2 threads...both full of pics that we've all seen before and a popularity contest on top of that. we do not do popularity contests here...never have, never will.

Actually... that's not even the one I was thinking of, I can kinda understand why the calendar ones were taken down.

then perhaps you could tell us what's going on? i'm at a loss now and all i have is the history that shows all posts, including deleted ones and where they came from...iow, they show up the same as undeleted posts but have a 'reason for removal' attached for mods to read in case questions like this comes up. perhaps the posts you're looking for have been moved? i could look into it if i know what i'm looking for...
