This is my second time growing, the first time failed miserably after transplanting to a larger pot.
I was wondering why can't I just start growing in a large pot to save the hassle of transplanting. I keep hearing people say "but they are happier in a small pot to start off with". BOLLOCKS. They don't start off in a small pot when they grow naturally in the wild, and they've been doing fine for century's.

on my second grow i did start them in their pot for life.
the pots were about 2foot wide by 2 foot deep, circular.
and my grow went very well. so i say do it.

the reason people start them off in small pots is for a more even root distribution.
