Different Types of Highs

So I've noticed there are a bunch of threads discussing everyones favorite strains of weed. However, somewhat inexperienced smokers like myself are not familiar with the literal effects of these certain strains. So instead of simply posting your favorite strain, post some of your favorite strains you've tried and what they did to you exactly. I know that sativa and indica are the two main types of pot, but there are so many different types of highs within them.


My favorite would have to have been some medicinal I smoked one time before a concert. It was a big mental high and it gave me the confidence to dance, which I never do. This particular weed helped me understand why people dance, and it just kept provoking these incredible philisophical thoughts in my head.

the weed i have right now kinda sucks.... its slow to kick in, and a rather boring high unless i smoked like 4 bowls to myself or something.

my favorite has to be blueberry or udub or a unknown sativa like weed that felt like it was dipped in syrup! mmmm

i had some great sativa the other day...

i was tired as hell, about midnight, and i smoked a bowl to ease my aches so i could sleep. didn't work...

it did take my mind off my pain and shit, but it didnt help me sleep. that shit kept me up till 6 in the morning.

Sativa are more euphoric, light type highs, like thai.

Indica has more of a body or narcotic high.

I just prefer it when I can really identify the high. I don't want no mix. I wanna be like "Wow! This is entirely in my head!". Or shit like that. It's boring when it's just normal weed with a normal high. Well, less fun.

my favorite type of weed is OG kush (that I have tried). my unofficial favorite would be MK Ultra, which won Cannabis Cup 2004 (G-13 which I love X OG Kush which I love). it tastes more pungent (very unique taste to all kush strains, once you taste it you know) than regular weed. i don't know how to describe it other than very chemical-y. it also gets you very stoned. mostly indica (so you're glued to the couch) but with some sativa too. however it takes a lot less than regular weed to get you high. one hit will take you where one bowl of regular weed will.

Hey, I've been smoking for over 10 years and couldn't tell you what kind of strain a particular weed is. I'm just happy to get high.
