you could grow a mother and keep it small by chopping it down when it gets too big like ya would take a clone from it
you could keep the clones or chuck them your choice

I only grow indoor 6 months out of the year and I had a question about growing a mother under such circumstances: If I grow a mother, how can I keep it alive and without it growing too much during my off season?
