    cool tube?

I'm going to buy a new system, which as got a big cool tube with 2 600watt HPS bulb's init, would it be best to have my extractor fan and ducktin 2" bigger, as this will be the only extraction point in the grow room?

    Thank's.

i dont understand the question myself bro. are you asking like if you had a cool tube with lets say a 4" extraction point would it be better to have a 6" duct hooked up to it. thats the only thing i could make out of it at least.

I don't fully understand the question either, but you always want to go with an exhaust capability 'at least' as large as the intake ... :smokin:

yes, that should be fine, as long as the fan has a decent cfm rating, look for 80 cfm and up ... :smokin:

well, it would depend on the fan because getting diff. sizes might make it more difficult / messy to get a clean connection.

that is, if a clean connection would be otherwise possible.

Just use the same size. Thats why it's built like that. Bigger ducts are a waste I think.
