    LIGHTING! FLORO READ ME!

I was going thru my garage crawl space and i happen to find 2 More Sets of Fluerecent Bulbs.. the whole kit.. so all in all i have 6 4'' Fluerecent Tubes, all with housing that lights them.. 3 houses of 2, six lights..

okay, the types of lights as follows, ( my dad used to grow tonz of plants in the basement of my old home when we were children ; we werent ever allowed in the basement. lol ) anyways, i dont know if he has them set up for VEG and Growing so ill just call them #1 #2 and #3.. Okay
Also, can you veg AND flower say 2 plants with all these lights.

#1 ( I used this for my first grow, it was succesfull... in a 2.5 GAL Bucket i had 4 plants.. sadly 3 of them were male, Vegged all 4 Fine. Flowering took longer but it was an unsuccesfull grow because i pissed of my dad the wrong way and he cut the roots off and threw it in the trash, regardless..)

Well with 6 of these 4 foot floros would it raise my electrical bill a lot, and with just these can i complete a successfull grow ( im ganna do bagseed, becauuuseee.. i dont want to buy seeds )

( hopefully i can find my dads 1000W HPS BOX, he said he dunno where it is he prolly gave it away, but that would a good add to my gro )

well any input is welcome. THANKS FOR READING MY RANT!

your GE Cool Whites will serve as your veg lights, high spectrum ... the other two I am not sure of ... if you need more lamps, WalMart, etc carries GE Cool Whites for veg, and the GE Kitchen&Bath, would serve as your lower spectrum flowering lights ... my area pays about 11 cents a kilowatt, so your present lamps on an 18-hour schedule, every day, would run about $14.75/month ... hope any of that helped ... :smokin:

It's a shame more newbies don't explore fluorescent tubes ... they probably get scared away from growing, after being told they must buy expensive metal halides, or sodium lamps, plus the required cooling systems ... Big Bud Daddy has shown what can be done at very little expense ... right now, his three-fixture, 6-lamp setup would cost very little ... WalMart has twin-tube 4-foot fixtures for $8 apiece, and choice of 'blue' Cool Whites, or 'red' Kitchen and Bath tubes for $8/pair ... we're talking a total lamp investment of about $48 ... and produced a healthy, potent plant like that ... another bonus is the cool lamp temperature, too,.. doesnt take much of a fan to keep your room cool, and you'll never burn your home down when your fan fails ... :smokin:

Sorry but I have to say something here. I have tried fluro's for years. What's the rest of your setup and how long did it take to get there ? I have worked with fluro's for year and can't get those results. Sorry, but that's a bad ass bud you got there. I think everyone would want to know the secret. I have seen the dif in fluro's and MH, HPS. No comparision. They do veg very well but that'ts it.
