No, this is what rehab is for..and sometimes if the addiction is extreme you have to go through a detox. But I read in a biology book if you give your brain time the brain starts producing the normal ammount of dopamine needed before the addiction altered it.

Ok...my mom, who is a Vicodin addict, told me that addiction causes the brain to stop producing it's own dopamine and the only way the addict can get the dopamine is to use the drug. Is this true?
