Thiocabomide Germination Firstly, I use the good ole' paper towel method for germination, I find most of the time it takes 4-5 days, sometimes more to germinate seeds for planting. I recently went through my old chem cabinet and found a half-pound of thiocarbomide crystal, pure (haven't used it in years for printing). So, after much research I decided to make a 15% solution with 85f water, soaked them for about 20 min, put in a tupperware with damp paper towel, set on the top of my warm tv, then stereo; and voila!
