When I made my final transplant, into 10 inch pots that would be their final resting place to start the flowering cycle, I cut away about half of the feeder roots (you know the ones wrapped around the ball when you take it out of the pot) and then I cut slices though the tap roots with a sharp knife, from four directions. A little shot of root stimulator, they loved it. It was risky advice to follow for first grow. Nothing ventured- nothing gained! I didn't want them to be come root bound during flowering cycle. Anybody done this?
